From September through May, children in Kindergarten to
Grade 5 may attend a weekly children's club program that adheres
to the internationally known curriculum from AWANA Youth Association.
AWANA is an achievement-oriented program that rewards children with recognition for learning the Bible and service to others.
Wednesday evenings are divided into clubs:
- Sparks (co-ed, K-2nd Grade)
- T & T Girls (3rd-5th Grade)
- T & T Boys (3rd-5th Grade)
They break into three segments weekly:
- Council Time (worship)
- Handbook Time (Scripture memory/Bible learning)
- Game Time (structured games for fun!)
Each Spring AWANA sponsors the AWANA Games--an
opportunity for each church to send teams by clubs to compete against
other church teams at an area site. Special AWANA activities are
held throughout the year, i.e., day trips, Christmas Bazaar, Handbooks
Nights, Grand Prix, Spring Fair.
